Tour Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Agdez – Zagora

This wonderful tour will be organised using a very comfortable 4×4. We will start by an early pick up from your hotel in Marrakech, then we will take the direction of Sahara, you will spend an ejoyable day and you will have the chance to discover amazing places, such as the Tizi N’Tichka pass and the famous Kasbah of Telouet before driving you to the beautiful Ounila valley where you will have enough time to visit the famous Kasbah of ait ben haddou. After, we will head to Draa valley where you will be impressed by the extreme beauty of desert landscapes, oasis and palm trees, before getting to Zagora, a great place to experience traditional Moroccan life in outstanding scenery among some incredibly unique sites.

Day 2 : Zagora – M’hamid – Erg Chegaga

In the second day of this tour we are going to leave Zagora city towards a small town named Tamegroute where you will discover a religious heritage symbilsed by the famous coranic library which contains thousand of priceless and historical manuscripts, you will be guided later to observe how the pottery workshop produce artworks. After that we will continue our way to M’hamid el Ghizlane through  its spacious palm oases and desert landscape. Now, it’s time to see something completely different, the fascinating Erg Chegaga dunes: a desert panorama of landscapes that looks like absolutely nothing!

You will be comfortably installed in a relaxing bivouac camp in the middle of nowhere. The last attractive activity for this day will be a camel ride tour over the Sahara dunes. Then , we will retun back to our camp to have dinner and  spend the second night under the vast starry sky of the desert.

Day 3 : Erg Chegaga- Foum Zguid – Marrakech

This is the last day of our tour, after taking your breakfast we are going to leave the desert and its unforgetable pleasant moments, we will drive through different routes, starting by the immense plateau of lake Iriki, Foum Zguid then Taznakht, before arriving at the capital of Saffron and the berber carpets “Wawzguit”. We will continue our way back to Marrakech.
